What You Need to Know About the Mokoko Bootcamp Event
Starting from October 30th and running all the way up to January 15th, 2024, the Lost Ark Mokoko Bootcamp Event will go live to encourage vets to play dungeons with new and returning players.
If you are a new or ‘returning’ Lost Ark player who’s taken a hiatus for a while but has an Item Level below 1660 as their Lost Ark character’s highest Item Level will be able to earn ‘Mokoko Tokens’ for completing dungeons while the Lost Ark event is live.
To differentiate players, new and returning players who meet the above criteria will display a “green leaf” icon when viewing their name in the recruitment panel.
Here are some of the required conditions to be designated as a Green leaf Lost Ark Mokoko player:
- New account created within the event period.
- Accounts created within 60 days before the Mokoko Bootcamp Event start date.
- Accounts with a previous Login Date 60 days before the Mokoko Bootcamp Event start date.
Until the end of the event, players who acquire a ‘green leaf’ will have the designation, however, once any of their Lost Ark characters in the account is over Item Level 1660, the ‘Green leaf’ designation expires.
For veteran players that don’t match the above-mentioned criteria, known as ‘active players’ can earn ‘Expert Tokens’ for completing dungeons with Green leaf players. With Lost Ark Mokoko Tokens and Expert Tokens, you can exchange them for rewards. Depending on which dungeon you conquer and complete, the number of Lost Ark Tokens will vary.
This effect takes place as long as there’s one ‘Green leaf’ new or returning player in the group and both will earn their respective tokens for a successful run.
The loot tables for both new and returning players will differ slightly, but both will include weekly and once-per-roster Lost Ark items. Additionally, both groups can access honing materials including Metallurgy/Tailoring: Hellfire honing books to help with honing in Tier 4.
This should help newer players get all caught up in most aspects of progression.
On the other hand, Expert Tokens can be exchanged for endgame items, including a Relic Engraving Selection chest which should be incentive enough to take part in the newbie’s bootcamp. But you’ll also earn a ‘Mokoko General’ title and an accompanying special icon title for your troubles.
Oh, & Ignite Server Transfers Now Live!
Besides the Lost Ark Mokoko Bootcamp Event, the main reason for an additional update for October 2024 is to open up the Transfer Window. As you know, with this month’s earlier releases we got access to the Ignite Server for players to grind.
With the transfer window now open, Ignite server players will be able to transfer a single character to Legacy servers. This transfer window will be live once the October 30th update is up and running, and will be available until November 27th, 2024.
There are two types of transfers you can do:
- Roster Transfer: A Roster Transfer will move some of the roster-level information to a server including the chosen Lost Ark character. This should be used for servers without an existing roster and is more suited for newer players who started on the Ignite Server.
- Character Transfer: A Lost Ark Character Transfer will merge the chosen Ignite-server character to an existing roster. This is better suited for active players with an existing roster on another server.
And that’s pretty much it! But if you’re impartial to more ‘traditional’ MMORPG stylings like Albion Online, U7BUY also has Albion Online Silver for sale in case you need a pick-me-up.
